The Neighborhood

Aragma is located in Playas de Tijuana, at the extreme northwest of Mexico, less than 7 miles away from San Ysidro's International Border.

The Mexican phrase ¨aquí inicia la patria¨ (here the country begins) honors it, since it's practically the closest northern point to the United States.

This proximity became a tourist attraction, since you can literally see The Wall dividing both borders, not only on land, but also a few meters into the sea.

Around 10% of Tijuana's population lives in the Playas de Tijuana District (181,574 persons, according to 2020 National Census)

Predominant Socioeconomic level in Playas de Tijuana is C+/C, with some sectors reaching AB/C+ level. This indicates the area has a well-off middle class.
